After missing out a couple times, when I heard Target was getting Wiis this morning I made damn sure to get there early. Damn early. Too early, as it turned out, because when I rolled up at 5:30 a.m. there was no one there. Rather than sit outside in the frigid cold, alone, I decided to risk holding off a bit more in exchange for warmth. So I came home and surfed Digg, and returned an hour later. That timing put me at #12 in the newly formed line.
Coincidentally, it was 12° outside. Awful weather to be just standing around in for hours (though thankfully without wind or snow). Fortunately, at about 7:15 the manager emerged to announce that they had a scarce fourteen Wiis, and handed out reimbursement tickets. That means that in less than a half hour, I will finally have my Wii!
