Ounce Update

If you are reading this from my Google Reader shared items, please subscribe to this feed, which I am using instead of shared items now.

Ounce has been updated! Here’s a quick breakdown of the changes:

• Line breaks in notes are now preserved.
• Titles are a little smarter about breaking at the end of sentences when possible.
• The description is dropped if it’s blank (such as in short, plain notes). This should keep Google Reader from saying “undefined”.
• Ounce now reports itself as its own user agent when talking to the Pownce API. I don’t know if they pay any attention to that, but I thought it would be a nice courtesy.

You don’t need to do anything to see these changes—they’ll be picked up by your RSS reader automatically.
