The Annual Migration

It’s that time of year again! Time for me to uproot myself, move, and be completely unorganized for about a month or so. I’m looking forward to the day when I am happy enough with the status quo to remain stationary for more than a year.

I made a bigger step this time, actually going all the way from Lincoln to Omaha. Having lived in Lincoln for almost 7 years, it’s going to be a little rough adjusting. In Lincoln I knew where everything was, and the best way to get there. Now I have to start that again from scratch. Fortunately, Omaha has a lot more of the stuff I need, and is easier to get around in, since it actually has major thoroughfares that are regularly spaced in both North-South and East-West directions. Are you listening, Lincoln? Take some notes.

I have another advantage here, too, since I’m now in the same apartment complex as my friends Nat and Adam! We’re practically neighbors! I foresee some fun times ahead.
