Man Arrested for Digg-Story-Digging Robot. I have so many questions about this video…
Why would you build a physical robot arm to scan the screen and peck the keyboard instead of just writing some software? It’s unnecessarily complex, expensive, and probably slow.
Why was he arrested? Last time I checked, digging stories is not illegal. (Although this probably goes against the TOS.)
What’s the point? From the looks of things, this robot just diggs whatever stories were on the front page. He’s not even exploiting it for personal gain!
What is wrong with the reporter? Is he a robot too?
